  During Event Evaluation

When establishing a Family Science program or community-based science program, three types of events best support the growth of a program as school science education reform efforts take place and community participation becomes more engaged. To evaluate the success of these events, three sets of participant questionnaires were created to reflect the distinct outcomes from each type of event:

Informational Event Participant Questionnaire (PDF)

Exploratory Event Participant Questionnaire (PDF)


Other questions may be added that deal with participants' attitudes and perceptions of the events, facilitators, and organizers. But remember to keep evaluations short, simple, and when possible anonymous.

Two other event questionnaires were created for facilitators/volunteers and the Planning Group to evaluate the planning and implementation efforts of each of these events:
